Overnight leader Maximilian Kieffer matched his first day effort of a round of 70, but finds himself two shots off the current pace.
The big leaderboard climber of the day was England's Daniel Brooks, who shot a strong round of 66—some seven shots better than his Day 1 effort—placing him tied for fourth.

Home Crowd Cheer For Frenchman Dubuisson
After the inclemency of Thursday's opener, three men positioned themselves at the top of the leaderboard after Friday's action, with home favourite Victor Dubuisson well placed and in contention.
The Frenchman shot a steady round of 70—two shots worse than his Day 1 score—tying for the lead with Rafael Cabrera-Bello and two-time major winner, and former world No. 1, Martin Kaymer.
Dubuisson's three bogeys of the day—at the eighth, ninth and 17th holes—were cancelled out by brilliant birdies on five and 12, and a wonderful eagle-two at the 383-yard sixth hole.

Germany's Kaymer continued to show his class and ability on Friday, matching his first round of 69, playing true to form.
