Hatton set the bar high after he shot a terrific 62 on Saturday, but the 24-year-old managed to sustain that momentum and finish strong at St. Andrews to cap off his European Tour triumph.
Hatton's first-ever European Tour win netted him a €711,073 (£640,000) share of the overall prize pot, not to mention bagging him 711,073 Race to Dubai points to go along with his major haul.
