Accenture Match Play Bracket 2013: Breaking Down Favorites Heading into Weekend

With the two biggest stars gone, it gives some of the other, less-heralded players a moment in the spotlight to show the world what they can do. Of course, it's entirely possible that another No. 1 seed wins.
Looking at the bracket right now, here are the players who appear to be the favorites heading into the weekend.

Bubba Watson, No. 2 seed in Bobby Jones bracket
If you believe in seeding for this tournament, Watson should be the overwhelming favorite. The two highest remaining seeds after him are No. 5 Graeme McDowell and No. 7 Jim Furyk, who he is playing in the third round.
Watson has been inconsistent so far this season, with one top-10 finish, one missed cut and one 15th-place finish.
He came out of the gate strong against Chris Wood, going two holes up at the turn, and he just kept a consistent pace going before putting the match away on the 17th hole. Now is the time to for him to turn on the momentum as The Masters approaches in just over a month.
Watson has had success in this event before, making it to the Final Four in 2011 before losing to Martin Kaymer. He has everything set up for him to make a deep run one more time this year.
