2011 British Open: Golf’s Third Major Still Up for Grabs Heading into Sunday

Six players currently sit under par at golf's third major, including: Darren Clarke, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Thomas Bjorn, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Lucas Glover.
With American golfers in their longest drought of major wins (five years), there are a few poised to strike come Sunday in Kent.
Dustin Johnson, who is sitting one shot behind the leader Darren Clarke at four-under par, has the best look at it heading into the final round.
With three solid rounds of 70, 68 and 68, the long hitting American will be in the final group heading out tomorrow on Royal St. George's.
Johnson had six birdies during his third round on Saturday, showing he has what it takes to play links golf and give the Northern Irishman Clarke a run for his money.
Young Rickie Fowler is also in the mix heading into Sunday. His three round scores of 70, 70 and 68, has himself lurking just three shots behind the leader.
The Internet dubbed golfing world’s equivalent to the most interested man in the world, Miguel Angel Jimenez seems to always put his self in a position to be near the top of the leader board in major events.
This year is again no exception.
The Spaniard is currently sitting at one-under par and four strokes behind the leader Clarke.
He will be paired with another American looking to erase the major drought for the U.S., Lucas Glover.
Glover seeks his second major title of his career after winning the U.S. Open at Bethpage Black in 2009.
The bearded one carded three bogeys in his third round, and though he has not done anything incredible this week, his steady play has shown through and has paid off.
