Oosthuizen has made almost four million dollars playing golf. Where? I have no clue.
At minus 12 on Friday, he is your leader halfway through the Open early on its second day.
This would be a huge story, as he is virtually unknown and would be considered an underdog.
Rory McElroy is in second place and will be on the course shortly, trying to repeat, or at least come close to, that 63 he shot yesterday. Rory is at minus nine.
I would expect about a 66 for McElroy today, as he tries to keeps pace with Oosthuizen.
Mark Calcavecchia is in fourth currently with a nice 67 on Friday. He is at minus seven.
In third place at minus eight with a couple of holes left to play is Paul Casey.
Lee Westwood is cruising along nicely at minus six, Tiger Woods has yet to tee off, and other big names will be in the mix soon enough, so enjoy it while you can, Louis.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Oosthuizen will not be the winner of the British Open.
Players having a rough go of it include Jim Furyk, Geoff Ogilvy, and K.J. Choi.
The Open starts tomorrow in earnest after the cut.
