Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo finished second to the four-time world champion despite making his best attempts to hound down his lead, while Kimi Raikkonen placed third in Ferrari's first double-podium race of 2015.
Vettel started in pole position and never looked like losing his lead in what was an excellent display from the German, with Hamilton's 34th lap retirement serving as the icing on Ferrari's cake.
