Red Bull has decided to appeal Daniel Ricciardo's disqualification from the Australian Grand Prix.

Red Bull debutant Daniel Ricciardo was excluded from his home Grand Prix after breaching fuel consumption rules.
The 24-year-old Aussie crossed the line in second place behind race winner Nico Rosberg, and despite sampling champagne on the podium in the immediate race aftermath, he’ll go to Malaysia on zero points, capping off a miserable day for Red Bull who are set to appeal the decision per BBC Sport:
The FIA have instilled a fuel flow sensor in every car ahead of this season to monitor the fuel-flow rate in each car, which is not supposed to exceed 100kg per hour. It’s reported that Ricciardo’s rate was “consistently” above that limit.
FIA spokesman Jo Bauer outlined the reasons for the disqualification in a statement per BBC Sport:
During the race, car number three [Ricciardo] has exceeded consistently the maximum allowed fuel-flow of 100kg/h.
This is not in compliance with Formula 1 regulations.
Red Bull later released a statement confirming they would appeal the decision, courtesy of ZeeNews.India.com's Staff:
"Following the decision of the FIA that Red Bull Racing is in breach of Article 3.2 of the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations and Article 5.1.4 of the FIA Formula 1 Technical Regulations with Car 3, the Team has notified the FIA of its intention to appeal with immediate effect," said a Red Bull statement.
"Inconsistencies with the FIA fuel flow meter have been prevalent all weekend up and down the pit lane. The team is confident the fuel supplied to the engine is in full compliance with the regulations."
