Michael Schumacher Reportedly Being Sued for Motor Vehicle Accident

The Mirror's Don Mackay writes that the incident is said to have occurred in Bormujos near Seville, where the unnamed rider has accused Schumacher of failing to give way, resulting in a crash that resulted in them being knocked from their vehicle.
The former Formula One champion remains in a medically induced coma at Grenoble University Hospital, the same site he has been receiving treatment at since hitting his head on a rock while skiing in the French resort of Meribel in late December.
Mackay reports that the unnamed rider is seeking compensation for a broken wrist they suffered as a result of the alleged collision, as well as reimbursement for a watch, clothes and their motorbike, which were also damaged.
Schumacher was on a private trip in Spain at the time, and the police accident report names him, along with the rental company from whom he hired out the offending Audi A4, as well as the insurance company.
It would not be compulsory for Schumacher to attend any trial, which would only take place if the insurer chose to contest the claim, something which is not as of yet clear.
The 45-year-old's manager, Sabine Kehm, claimed earlier this month that Schumacher was showing some signs of improvement, per German broadcaster ARD (h/t The Independent's Jack De Menezes).
There are short moments of consciousness and he is showing small signs of progress.
There are moments when he is awake and moments when he is conscious.
However, this is an unwelcome distraction for Schumacher's family on the German great's road to recovery, which itself is by no means a certainty as of yet.
