Le Mans 2012 Video: Anthony Davidson Goes Airborne in Horrific Crash

The British driver was removed from the car by safety workers after the wreck and suffered two fractured vertebrae in the crash, according to foxsports.com.
Davidson tweeted about his injuries shortly after:

Davidson is expected to make a full recovery and return to racing, according to a Toyota spokesman who spoke to Sky Sports.
The 33-year-old Formula One racer finished fourth at last year's Le Mans, but had to settle for 51st in the 80th edition of the epic endurance race.
Stil, Davidson and his Toyota team finished two spots ahead of Perazzini's Ferrari team, who they were in the process of lapping before the horrific crash occurred.
It was a clean sweep atop the podium for Audi, however, as Toyota made its first run in the 24 Hours of Le Mans since 1999.
