Australian Grand Prix 2016 Qualifying: Results, Times from Friday’s F1 Practice

The conditions were not ideal as the rain came down in Melbourne, but the Englishman reveled in them while many of the other drivers struggled.

FP2 Recap Here are the standings from the second practice session:
Mercedes had mixed fortunes in the afternoon's action at the Australian Grand Prix on Friday with Hamilton going fastest but Nico Rosberg crashing.
The rain once again caused problems as it had in the morning's running.
Rosberg fell victim to the wet as he crashed at Turn 6, driving into the wall and losing his front wing, per Formula One:
Meanwhile, Hamilton topped the timesheets, going almost half a second faster than Force India's Nico Hulkenberg in second.
Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen was further back in third while Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo finished fourth.
Raikkonen's team-mate, Sebastian Vettel, finished eighth, almost two seconds down on Hamilton, but it was very difficult to make any definitive judgement on who might prevail come the race because of the wet conditions.
Indeed, no driver was able to do any significant running in the wet, meaning track-time was kept to a minimum.
The hope will be that the conditions improve for the third practice session on Saturday ahead of a crucial qualifying.
