New Zealand weathered some heavy Georgian hitting and their own sloppiness at times to secure their third bonus-point win in Pool C of the Rugby World Cup 2015, recording a 43-10 victory. The Lelos shocked the All Blacks when they levelled the scores at 7-7 early in the piece, but a further three tries gave Steve Hansen’s men a cushion and the bonus point by half-time. Rugby World Cup 2015’s Pool B will virtually be decided on Saturday as South Africa take on Scotland at St James’ Park, England. The Springboks once again come into a match on uncertain terms as the convincing 46-6 win last weekend against Samoa came at a heavy price. Captain Jean de Villiers fractured his jaw in the match against the physical opponents, and after being ruled out of the rest of the tournament, he decided to retire from international rugby. De Villiers’ tally of 37 matches as captain of South Africa is only bettered by John Smit’s mammoth 83. Luckily, South...

New Zealand coach Steve Hansen isn’t taking the threat of Georgia lightly after naming a very experienced XV for their Pool C collision on Friday. Captain Richie McCaw is among those making his return to the All Blacks’ starting lineup after coming on as a substitute against Namibia, while Georgia coach Milton Haig has made widespread changes to his team. Georgia were embarrassed 54-9 at the hands of Argentina last Friday, and Haig told Sky Sports why he was looking to use a raft of fresh faces for the All Blacks fixture at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium: We’ve made...
