Charley Hoffman was like a Boy Scout after a good day of nice deeds. In the clubhouse at minus eight, Hoffman is the 36 hole leader at the St. Jude Classic. The San Diego native has struggled on the weekends, and I suggest a nice, neat haircut will change his attitude. His game will become crisper and cleaner, much like the hair. Trust me. The Yahoo Fantasy Golf team of Zach Johnson, Lee Westwood,...

Lee Westwood opened the St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tenn., with a brilliant minus-seven to take the early lead. Westwood was my backup fantasy player to J.B. Holmes, and was quickly activated for rounds two, three, and four. Zach Johnson, my A entrant, shot a first round 67, for minus-three for the first day. My other Yahoo! fantasy golf players, Rory McIlroy and Ben Crane, are also under par at minus-two...

The Saint Jude Classic played at the TPC Southwind Course, in Memphis, Tennessee, was won by Brian Gay last year. He played very well, but so far this season has not won again. Maybe Mr. Gay can show a good defense of his title this weekend. Tiger Woods needs to be playing every event he can. The rust is evident and competitive golf in the trenches is actually the best practice he could possibly have. Also,...

Ricky Fowler leads the Memorial after two days with a very nice round at 13 under. His closest competitor is Tim Petrovic at minus nine, four shots behind already. Phil Mickelson is out on the course, currently at minus six, and has some catching up to do. Justin Rose is still also playing, and is one shot ahead of Mickelson at minus seven. Fowler has gone low in several tournaments, just not four...

“That’s more like it,” I was thinking as I checked the leader board following the first round of Jack’s Memorial Tournament. My team this week has Woods as my A-Player, and he kicked in a nice -3 start and 19th place for the first two days. J.B. Holms fired a beautiful -5 and is in 6th place. K.J. Choi responded will his own -3 which eerily matches Tiger Woods’ score once...

I can beat Ludacris at bowling, I’m pretty sure of that, even after a five-year layoff from a very competitive, but fun atmosphere, league bowling. I stopped in the local bowling house, All-Star Lanes located in beautiful North Fort Myers, Fla., last week, and inquired about summer leagues. I was informed that someone was needed on Thursday evening which fit into my schedule so off to league...

Seven million people will have Tiger Woods as their A-player in fantasy golf this weekend, so your next three selections on your team will be important to keep pace, that is, as long as Woods delivers to the confidant masses. I am sucked into that huge abyss of also selecting Tiger Woods to win this week. Pictured, however is K.J.Choi. a proven winner on Tour, that plays well with Woods in the field....

Next stop on the PGA Tour is the Memorial, played in Dublin, Ohio at Muirfield Village Golf Course. Tiger Woods is the defending champion, and will be my A-player in Yahoo Fantasy Golf this week. Tiger plays well here usually, so lets see if he can reach the form we are accustomed to. Especially in Jack’s backyard, Tiger should open one serious can of whup-ass this week. My B-players in Yahoo...

K.J Choi has now joined a big group at minus 12 on Saturday at the Crowne Plaza Invitational, being played this weekend at Colonial, in Fort Worth Texas. Choi is eight under for today’s round with some holes left. He is currently alone in first place at minus 14. This changed a few holes later and Choi is now in at minus 10 for the tournament. Choi, as well as Bo Van Pelt, are two...

Hi, some of you know me, but some may not. I’m sure my profile will get plenty of hits after this one. I challenge Tiger Woods and Roger Federer to play me at my favorite sports: Golf and Tennis. I play pretty good golf, especially for my age, and some steel in portions of my right leg. I have rescued lots of dogs and it requires kennels, dog food, vet care and so on. I handle all this pretty...
