State Policy: New Statement from CCSSO & Asia Society
State Policy paper cover
This month Asia Society and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) released
a new report, Putting the World Into World-Class Education: State Innovations and Opportunities. This new paper shares the innovative work states across the country are undertaking to integrate international knowledge and skills into schools. States have sought to change standards, redesign high schools, expand world language programs, internationalize teacher preparation, harness technology and use international benchmarking. While these activities hold real promise, the paper calls on states to build on this important progress in a more systematic way. To learn more and download a copy click here.
