Masters 2011: Tiger Woods Ready To Pounce for His Fifth Green Jacket

After a rocky start in the first few holes, Woods made a vintage run from hole eight all the way to 18 going seven-under on the last 10 holes.
August National is a place of comfort for Tiger. He won his first major there. It is why he chose to make his initial return to golf there last year, and it is where he will win his 15th major.
The greatness and mystique of Tiger Woods has three major components: confidence, skill and instilling fear in the competition. Since last November, all three were non-existent but they appear to be back.
Self-confidence is the most important part of being a golfer. Tiger was broken down, to say the least. But this past week, in an interview with Tom Rinaldi, Tiger was asked who the best golfer in the world was, he answered rhetorically, "Hmm when I get my swing dialed in?" The answer was obvious and Woods backed his words on Friday.
Second most important component, because confidence is the basis, is skill. Tiger has always had the skill but it was lost. It appears that he has not only found his swing as he displayed through his iron play, but he also dialed in his putter, needing only 26 puts in the second round.
Finally, instilling fear in the opponent is a major part of Tiger Woods' game. No matter what golfers are saying nowadays about not being intimidated by him, nobody wants to be paired with Tiger heading into Sunday. Having his name up on the leader-board is already a leg up.
