The Masters 2013: Big Names Set to Make a Run at Augusta National This Weekend

From controversial penalties to surprising performers, Augusta National is the place to be this weekend as the year's first major tournament gets set to conclude on Sunday with the final round.
While all eyes will surely be on four-time Masters champion Tiger Woods and 14-year-old Chinese amateur Tianlang Guan Saturday and Sunday, there are plenty of other well-known golfers set to impress over the final two rounds.
Here we'll take a closer look at three big names set to make a run at a green jacket this weekend at the 2013 Masters.
Rory McIlroy
After playing a mediocre round on Thursday, Rory McIlroy picked up the pace on Friday, shooting a two-under 70 to pull within four strokes of the leader heading into Saturday's third round.
A two-time major champion, the 23-year-old McIlroy won't be overwhelmed by the moment this weekend at Augusta. You've got to believe McIlroy has learned from his experience here in 2011, when he jumped out to an early lead only to collapse in the final round, shooting an eight-over 80 to finish 10 shots back of the leader.
The world No. 2 has experienced plenty of success at golf's other three majors, and it's only a matter of time before he figures out the Masters.
So long as he can remain confident and continue to improve on the par-5s he'll be in good shape this weekend. With some unproven players sitting atop the leaderboard, this tournament has McIlroy's name written all over it.
Justin Rose
Justin Rose has a history of finishing strong at the Masters. The 32-year-old recorded his best finish at Augusta National last year, shooting a four-under 68 in the final round to finish tied for eighth; his second Top 10 at the Masters since 2007.
